This lily is experimental. The flower is forged from two sizes of steel pipe, some strands of welding wire, and a 1/4" round rod. The leaves are forged from shaped and flattened sections of 1/2" round rod. It is all forge-welded together.
Lilies have a trilateral (3-way)symmetry, distinctly different from other families of flowers. Roses, for example, have a pentalateral (5-way)symmetry.
