Xiphos in Sheath

Xiphos in Sheath
The Xiphos is an ancient Greek bronze sword design. The 13.5" blade has a hollow-ground center to keep it light enough for prolonged combat. The edges are work-hardened. This sheath is designed to carry the sword at about 40 degrees from vertical, with its center of mass slightly behind the point straight down from the belt loop. The handle is braided elk leather. These tassels are purely decorative.
